While the Nissan Terra seven-seater SUV has not yet been launched in South Africa, it is heading our way. The range will feature several trim levels, including the XE, SE, and LE, along with a choice of either a 4×2 or 4×4 drivetrain.

In terms of pricing, the new addition to the already-impressive Nissan SUV lineup will start at R596,900* for the base XE specification with a manual gearbox, and go up to R853,900* for the range-topping automatic LE.

Every new Nissan Terra model comes standard with a 6-year/150,000km warranty and a 6-year/90,000km service plan.

Under the bonnet of the new Nissan Terra range in South Africa is a 2.5-litre, turbo-diesel engine delivering 140kW and 450Nm of torque. It is paired to a choice of either a six-speed manual or seven-speed automatic transmission.

While the Nissan Terra XE and the Terra SE are available in both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive configurations, the top-spec Nissan Terra LE is only available with a 4×4 drivetrain.
